Salad with Goat Cheese

Submitted by wilhelmus

This restaurants serves 'fusion' food, according to the menu. I would call the menu diverse, but that probably doesn't sound very cool. This salad tasted fine for a lunch. That big thing on top is a piece of grilled cheese.
Signore Salad

Ljubljana has a strip of cafes and patios along the river. It's great to sit and people watch. Cafe Romeo has a small patio as well but there's an inside area that looks nice as well. This salad was a perfect little lunch meal.
Greek Salad

Submitted by wilhelmus

This was more a 'Greek inspired' salad, but who cares when the waiter is the nicest guy on the planet.
Mixed Salad

We found a vegetarian restaurant so we had to check it out. It was full, 10 tables and one server who also did the cooking. He managed things no problem though and was super nice as well. Salad was probably pre-made, but good.
Falafel

These falafel delis are all over Amsterdam. You get a pita with a few pieces of falafel and a free salad bar to fill up your pita. Feel free to refill. An excellent cheap meal.
Crab Salad

By the breaking surf in California - quickest delivery of a salad I have ever had, beat the starter by 10mins. Pretty basic but big and tasty - not sure what the scoop is with serving with the knife and fork stuck in the dish like that!!
Macaroni and Cheese

Submitted by Finn

If my wife and I go shopping at Ikea, we go after work on a Friday. The place is nearly empty, so we fly through the store in record time. Problem is, our stomachs are nearly empty too, which means either shopping with low blood sugar, or a paying a visit to the heinous Ikea cafeteria. Worst macaroni and cheese I've ever tasted. It was bland, mushy and barely edible, in fact my wife couldn't even finish it. Salad was bitter and the dressing straight out of a bottle. Next time we come, we're shopping on empty.
Spinach and Cheese Quiche

I've always thought Ikea furniture was poorly made, but their food is ten times worse. If you've ever bought a piece of cheaply made Ikea furniture, you know this must mean their food is pure crap. Gooey pastry, tasteless filling and a bitter salad. How do you say awful in Swedish? Ohygglig.
Taco Salad

Finding a restaurant with reasonable prices and vegetarian options isn't the easiest thing to do in Dublin. Tis place is ex-pen-sive. The mexican restaurant was reasonable and the salad as well.
