Enchiladas Suzias

Submitted by Finn

Drive past that Bellis Fair mess and get some decent food in the town of Bellingham. Two authentic enchiladas stuffed with chicken, accompanied by the usual suspects - beans, rice and salad. My wife raved, so it gets four stars.
Camaron Machos

Shrimps grilled in butter and the house special sauce. Although the menu promised HOT, it could have used some more kick. Delicious all the same.
Burrito with rice and beans

Submitted by davidmead

Mi Pueblo offers large portions for a reasonable price. This pork burrito was stuffed and I had half the next day.
Great value and really tasty.
Yoshinoya Beef Bowl

Submitted by seraphim1970

Want some Japanese fast food? Head on to Yoshinoya at Times Square. Get the Beef Bowl, Teriyaki Chicken Bowl, Vegetable Bowl or if you want the best of both worlds get the Combo Bowl which comes with Beef and Chicken, have it regular or spicy. The restaurant itself is spacious and clean, the staff are slow-moving like they are zombies but thank goodness I usually don't need to wait ages for my food.
When Yoshinoya first opened in Singapore years back, I tried and didn't like it but somehow since in NY, I tried it again and now think it's ok, I won't eat it everyday but once in awhile is fine ... heh heh. I usually get the Beef Bowl cos the beef is soft and I like the gravy over the rice, yummy, add on some chilli flakes makes it even better. The pricing is cheap, US$4.19 for a bowl which includes meat, vegetables and rice, what more can one ask for.
Super Veggie Deluxe

If you're wondering, no I didn't wash my lunch down with a bottle of Burrowing Owl Merlot, I just moved it into the shot to add a touch of elegance to an basic Steamroller's lunch. As always, delightful mix of rice, beans, veggies and hot sauce, rolled into a compact, neat-to-eat burrito. Won't set the world on fire, but it's a great tasting, healthy, fast lunch. A glass of wine wouldn't hurt, but I'm saving this bottle for a meal a little more upscale.
Spanish Rice

A nice side dish with the other tapas. As a vegetarian, my meals here consist primarily of side dishes, but as a whole, it makes for a good meal.
Large Chicken Souvlaki

Submitted by Finn

Nothing outstanding about this greek spot, except - Good food. Huge portions. Great prices. My souvlaki tonight was a little dry, not sure if it was a result of it being take-out or the kitchen having an off-night. Usually the chicken is grilled just right.
Bean Tostada

Submitted by wilhelmus

Yes, this a bean tostada. Let be fair, the chance that the chef has been to Mexico is very small. So it doesn't really matter if the name of the meal matches the western definition. what matters is if the meal tastes good. And believe me, this meal was great.
Tommy Burrito

Submitted by Finn

Chicken, rice and veggies rolled in a spinach tortilla, and smothered in a tomatillo sauce. I usually enjoy this wrap, but today the sauce was really bitter. Ugh I had trouble finishing this.
Sole with Rice

Submitted by Finn

The Mercado Central is a bit of a tourist spot, but we're tourist so what the heck. Grilled sole with a creamy seafood sauce and rice. The presentation left a lot to be desired, but the taste was amazing.
