Super Turkey

Submitted by Finn

This deli is somewhat an institution in Montreal(and a bit of a tourist trap) but WFT, I'm a tourist. Double rye bread stuffed, and I mean stuffed, with tender smoked turkey; meat totally outweighed the veggies 3:1. Served with coleslaw, fries and complemented with a couple cold beers, it was a great lunch.
Fish Tacos

Submitted by Finn

The sound of the deep fryer, trailer-esque decor, and the ever present aroma of vinegar. If you didn't know better you'd think you stumbled across another fish and chip wagon. Don't let the setting fool you, this little chip wagon is one of the best seafood restaurants in Vancouver. Aside from the usual suspects (fish and chips et al) the menu features some creative alternatives. The day I was there they had cerviches and emperor scallop burgers on the menu, but I settled into two fish tacos, rolled in soft tortilla and grilled. Delicious, original and full of flavour. And the slaw wasn't your usual pre-made out of the tub variety. Lightly tossed in a Balsamic dressing it was the perfect side to this meal. And all this for just $9.00. What a deal! Expect long line-ups on sunny days, but be patient, it's worth the wait.
