I usually don't mix sweet and savoury, but the sharpness of the apple cut through the heavy (too heavy?!?) almond-sage pesto cream nicely, so I was glad it was there. While I almost always enjoy my meal at Subeez, the food is only half of the equation. The casual, fun, ultra-cool vibe is the other reason to come. And the place isn't over-run with 'hipsters' either, so you don't feel out of place if you're not wearing an ironic T-shirt and thrift-store pants.
