Tuna Melt

Submitted by nigel220

Tuna on a bagel with caesar salad. What you see on the menu is what you get - which is good because who wants food surprises. Awesome place to sit and watch the Whistler crowd go by.

One of the best vegetarian pizzas (love those artichokes)that I think I have ever had out.

Totally unsatisfied from the Yama Bowl, I had to supplement my lunch with a slice of pizza. This was a little doughy, but otherwise edible.

A fancy name for Vegetarian Udon in a Miso soup base. I stand by my earlier comment about the variety of choice at this day lodge, you don't find Udon at most ski resorts. But I take back what I said about portion size. Unlike the Tuna Sandwich in the previous post, this $10.50 bowl was way overpriced, unfulfilling and very average.
Tuna Sandwich

Most Ski Resort day lodges serve overpriced, uninspired food and skimpy portions. And to be honest, the day lodges at Whistler/Blackcomb fall into that category. Well the Glacier day lodge on Blackcomb Mountain proved me wrong. Why can't all their day lodges serve food like this one. Still pricey but at least the food is interesting. One of the best sandwiches I've ever come across at a ski resort. Huge and really fresh.

Basket of Fries

Submitted by wilhelmus

During my last ride down Blackcomb mountain I hit my head hard on a block of ice. My helmet prevented any serious damage so this basket of fries was helpfull to deal with the pain.
Veggie Stirfy

Glacier Creek has a larger food court. I had a hard time with the Australian accent the guy the guy who was serving me had. It's a common problem in Whistler where many Australians go work for the winter. I was there just before the lunch crowd so he had prepped some stir-fry. The result was that my food was cold. If it was hot, it would have been delicious.
Basket of Fries

After snowboarding all day, a beer tastes mighty fine. And you need something greasy with it of course. This basket contained more fries than it looks like. And you can see Finn take his own picture of this meal. Watch for it here on MealMe.
Veggie Chili

After a morning of riding the slopes of Blackcomb mountain, this is the meal for me. Comes in a bread bowl. Perfect.
